How to play Volleyball
The casual version of the rules. log8 shows the same guide in the app, on the game's page.
- Players6 a side indoors, 2 a side on the beach. Casual games use whoever turns up.
- How to winWin 3 sets out of 5. Sets go to 25, the fifth to 15, and you must win by 2.
- The official gameBeach volleyball has 2 players a side and sets go to 21.
- How groups differPark games often play one set to 25, or skip moving round. Agree before you start.
- Every rally wins a point, whoever served.
- Serve from behind the back line. The ball must clear the net.
- Your team gets up to 3 touches to send it back over.
- The same player can’t touch it twice in a row.
- You can’t catch or throw the ball, or touch the net.
- When your team wins the serve back, everyone moves one spot round.

- Pick the game and the playersChoose Volleyball, then everyone who played. Friends without log8 can join as guests.
- Enter the resultRecord the winner, or the score of every set, game, frame or board.
- The other players approveFriends on log8 get 48 hours to approve it, or tap Disagree if it is wrong. Guests count straight away. A result nobody answers closes without counting.
- Your record updatesOnce it is official it counts toward your head-to-head records, group board, badges and cups.
