Log a game
Log any game in seconds.
Pick the game, pick the people you played, tap the result and send it. log8 handles 1 vs 1, doubles, teams, uneven sides and everyone-for-themselves games, and it remembers your usual pairings so the next one is one tap.
How it works
From the last point to a logged result
- Pick the gameChoose from 72 built-in games in nine sections, or one of your custom games.
- Pick the playersFriends, guests, or a mix. Put them on sides: 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, 1 vs 2 when someone is missing, or everyone for themselves in games that are played that way.
- Enter the resultThe Log sheet asks for what the game needs: a winner, a score, sets, placings, a time or how a bout ended.
- Send itThe other players get it to approve. Guests count straight away.
The detail
What makes logging quick
- Re-log chipsHome keeps a chip for each game and group of people you played recently, so a rematch is one tap.
- Shapes that fit the gameEach game has its own rules for how many sides and how many players a side can have, so log8 offers only results that make sense for it.
- Score optional where it can beFor football, FIFA, cricket and many others you can log only who won, or add the score.
- Works on a bad connectionIf a result cannot send, log8 keeps it and sends it when you are back online. It is never logged twice.
- Where you played, if you wantAdd the place. Location is optional, asked for in context, and read once in the foreground.
- A photo and a captionAdd a photo to a result once it is official, and your friends can comment on it.

Questions
Log a game: questions
How long does it take to log a game?
A few taps: game, players, result, send. A rematch with the same people is one chip on Home.
Can I log a game where the sides are uneven?
Yes, where the game allows it. Badminton, table tennis and carrom take 1 vs 2, and cricket takes uneven teams.
Can I log a game without signal?
Yes. log8 keeps the result and sends it when you are back online, and it is never logged twice.
Do my friends need the app?
No. Add a friend as a guest and the game counts straight away. If they join log8 later with the email you gave, every game you logged with them moves to their account.
