Guest players
Your friends do not need the app.
Not everyone you play has log8 yet. Add them as a guest and the game still counts. When they join with the email you gave, they claim the profile and every game you logged with them moves to their account.
How it works
From guest to player
- Add a guestType a name, and an email if you have one.
- Play and logSeat the guest like anyone else. A guest cannot approve, so their part of the result counts straight away.
- They join log8When the guest signs in with that email, log8 offers them the profile you made.
- History moves with themThey claim it and keep every game, with the same head-to-head records.

Do my friends need the app?
No. Add a friend as a guest and the game counts straight away. If they join log8 later with the email you gave, every game you logged with them moves to their account.
Do results with guests need approval?
A guest cannot approve, so their part counts straight away. Other players who have log8 still approve.
Can a guest keep their history when they join?
Yes. They claim the profile with the same email and every game moves to their account.
