Approved results
Results everyone agreed on.
Every result in log8 starts as a claim. The other players approve it, or tap Disagree. Only then does it count toward records, boards, badges and cups. That is why a log8 record ends the argument instead of starting one.
How it works
How a result becomes official
- LoggedSomeone who played logs the result. It shows as Needs approval.
- Approved or disputedThe other players approve it, or tap Disagree if it is wrong. Small games need everyone; bigger ones need a set number of approvals, so one absent friend cannot block a ten-player result.
- OfficialOnce enough players approve, the result is Official and counts everywhere.
- Or closedA result nobody answers within 48 hours closes without counting. Nothing is approved by silence.

What happens if nobody approves a result?
Nothing is approved by silence. A result nobody answers within 48 hours closes without counting.
What if someone logs the wrong score?
Tap Disagree. The result does not count, and whoever logged it can log it again correctly.
Can an official result be changed?
Yes. Ask for a change or a delete, and the same players approve it before anything changes.
Who has to approve a result?
The other players who have log8. With three or fewer players everyone approves; bigger games need a set number of approvals.
