log8 is coming soon

Every group has one: the friend who swears they won the last game. log8 is the scorebook that settles it, and it is coming to Android and iPhone.

Logging a game: You against Ravi, with Send 3–1 to Ravi. A FIFA result marked Official once both players approved it. A group board with a podium, a leaderboard and recent activity.
Log a game, get it approved, and your crew sees every result.

Why we built it

The games we play with friends matter more than their scores suggest. The weekly badminton, the office FIFA league, the carrom board that comes out at every family get-together. They build rivalries that last years, and almost none of it is written down. When it is, it is in a group chat that scrolls away, or a notes app only one person can see.

log8 keeps that record properly. One place for every game you play, kept fair, and shared with the people who played it.

What’s in the first version

Friends don’t need the app to be in a game. Add them as a guest, and if they join log8 later, every game you logged with them moves to their account.

Private by default

log8 has no advertising identifier and no analytics SDK, and it does not track you across other apps. Your record is shared with the people you played and nobody else. Location is optional and only used to fill in where you played. The detail is in the privacy policy.

Where it stands

log8 is in closed testing on Android and iPhone, and what our testers tell us is shaping what ships. The store listings come next, and we will post here the day they go live.

Get in early

Want to try it before it reaches the stores? Email social@log8.in and tell us whether you use Android or iPhone. We will send you an invite to the test, or let you know the day it launches.
